About us:

We took early retirement from teaching in the UK to move to Sabina in 2004. In the UK we hosted language students in our home for many years and like to continue the enjoyable experience of meeting new people by welcoming you to our villa.

Carla taught Italian for many years in the UK to all age groups and has recently started to give lessons here as well – so if you want to brush up your Italian while you are on holiday, this is the place for you. She also now finds more time to follow her passion for painting and sculpting.

Michael was an academic manager and lectured in business, management and IT. He now has time to return to his interests in photography and playing the fiddle.

We are both very fond of the outdoor life and enjoy walking, sunbathing, swimming and Carla also loves cooking. We live on the ground floor and will do our best to be helpful yet unobtrusive.
