Sit in the sunny garden or on the terrace sipping local wine while taking in the local views or reading a good book. Walk up to Montasola, the local village, have a coffee or drink in the bar and enjoy walking through the narrow streets or visit other local hill top medieval villages – Casperia and Roccantica are particularly recommended. If you come in November, you could also try your hand at olive picking, in the traditional manner, in our olive grove and visit the local ‘frantoio’ to see the olives being processed into superb extra virgin olive oil. You can even take some oil back home with you. For the ultimate relaxation why not visit the hot spa at the ‘Terme dei Papi’ at Viterbo – just one hour by car. Busy Visit Rome and enjoy its history, beauty and art. There are so many things to see that one day will not be enough especially if you also want to shop for that special Italian fashion item. Visit other well known tourist towns such as Orvieto, Spoleto, Assisi and Tivoli – all within easy reach by car.
